Concepcion (Connie) Skaggs is President of the Huntington Center Barber and Beauty Salon located in downtown Columbus, Ohio.  Ms. Skaggs possesses an extensive resume of experience in the cosmetology and barber industry and the many areas of community service she is involved in.   After working for the previous owner since 1990, Connie became the owner and operator of the Huntington Center Barber and Beauty Salon, Inc.  Previously she worked as a Managing Cosmetologist at Mei’z Lakeview Hair Designs (1986 – 1990) and was an Instructor at the Ohio State School of Cosmetology (1986 – 1990).   Connie is former Chairman of the Ohio State Barber Board and has served on that Board since her appointment in 2006.  Additionally, she is a Past President for the National Association of Barber Boards of America. She has served on the Advisory Council to the Ohio State College of Barber Styling since 2007. She holds active licenses as a Registered Barber and Instructor and maintains her Managing Cosmetologist license.   She attends multiple business development continuing education courses annually. Aside from attending Barbers International, she has been involved in organizing conferences for them.
