In 1968 the North Columbus Jaycees embarked on a project to provide affordable housing for senior citizens. North Columbus Jaycee Housing, Inc., an Ohio not-for-profit corporation, was created to be the development entity.  Throughout the years, the North Columbus Jaycee Housing, Inc. has looked for other opportunities to purchase properties and continue their mission of providing well-kept and affordable housing for seniors and families.  In 2009, through a generous donation from the North Columbus Jaycees, NCJC Housing & Development Foundation, an Ohio non-profit corporation, was formed.  It is the vision of the Foundation to develop and expand affordable housing resources for low- and very low-income residents in the State of Ohio.

Combined, the 3 founding members Greg (President), Eddie (Vice President), and Connie (Secretary/Treasurer) have over a hundred years of experience in the field. Additionally, the current board has additional expertise in real estate and construction.  NCJC Housing & Development Foundation possesses many years of combined experience developing and managing rental housing using funding and rental subsidy programs provided by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development and Ohio Housing Finance Agency.  It is the Owner and General Partner in the following properties:
